Invested in long-term value

We are one of the world’s largest alternative asset managers, focused on real estate, infrastructure, renewable power and private equity. In China we have US$18billion of assets under management.

About Brookfield in China

Established in 2014, Brookfield became a cornerstone investor in China Xintiandi, an owner of premier office and retail assets in Shanghai.

In 2017, we expanded our portfolio with the acquisition of Terraform Global and its wind and solar assets, totaling approximately 170 MW of generating capacity.

In 2018, we entered into a joint venture with Global Logistic Properties, to create a rooftop solar energy grid on 33 million sqm of logistics warehousing across the country’s east coast.

Most recently, we acquired GHC (now known as One East), a mixed use complex comprising three office towers and a retail mall in Shanghai. We also own and operate 4 logistics properties totaling 370,000 sqm.

Over the coming years, we expect to continue our prudent investment activity in China.
