Invested in long-term value

We are one of the world's largest alternative asset managers, focused on real estate, infrastructure, renewable power, private equity and credit . In China we have US$16billion of assets under management.

About Brookfield in China

Established in 2014, Brookfield became a cornerstone investor in China Xintiandi, an owner of premier office and retail assets in Shanghai.

In 2017, we expanded our portfolio with the acquisition of Terraform Global and its wind and solar assets, totaling approximately 170 MW of generating capacity.

In 2019, we acquired GHC (now known as One East), a mixed-use complex comprising three office towers and a retail mall in Shanghai. We also own and operate 10 logistics properties totaling ~1.1Msqm, with a further 4 assets under construction.

More recently, we expanded our renewable energy footprint to Guangxi, Tianjin, Anhui, and established a multi-family portfolio in Shanghai.

Over the coming years, we expect to continue our prudent investment activity in China.
